Refund policy
It is imperative that customers read and understand the Uniform Industry Returns and Exchange Policy as shown below. As we only sell brand new garments, our suppliers impose the following guidelines regarding returns and exchanges.
As a uniform business, we sell our apparel in bulk to businesses which eliminates the need for returns. Should a private buyer wish to buy small volumes, we are more than happy to accomodate their order but they must be mindful of the below information regarding Returns and or Exchanges. For some small orders, it is often more cost effective to simply keep the product

Returns, Exchanges, Store Credit & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 4 August 2026
At Uniforms.com.au, we are committed to supplying quality apparel backed by professional customer service.
This policy explains our voluntary Change of Mind Policy, our Returns & Exchanges process, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a product fails to meet one or more of these consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the issue.
If a product has a major failure, you are entitled to choose either:
-
A refund; or
-
A replacement.
If a product has a minor failure, Uniforms.com.au may choose to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time.
Where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, it will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed with the customer.
Change of Mind Returns
Although we are not legally required to accept change-of-mind returns, Uniforms.com.au offers this service on eligible products as a goodwill gesture.
We do not provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
Approved change-of-mind returns will receive a Uniforms.com.au Store Credit after applicable fees and charges have been deducted.
Store Credit:
-
Is issued in Australian Dollars (AUD).
-
Is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
-
Cannot be redeemed for cash.
-
Cannot be exchanged for a refund.
-
May only be redeemed on Uniforms.com.au.
Returns & Exchanges
At Uniforms.com.au, we choose not to build the cost of returns into the price of every product. This allows us to keep our prices as competitive as possible for all customers.
Unlike traditional retail stores that hold inventory on shelves, many of our products are sourced from our Australian supplier network specifically to fulfil customer orders. When eligible products are returned, our suppliers charge us restocking fees, freight charges and handling costs.
Rather than increasing the price of every product to cover these costs, we only charge customers who choose to use our voluntary change-of-mind return service.
These charges are intended to recover part of the costs we incur from our suppliers and logistics partners when processing eligible returns.
Eligibility for Change of Mind Returns
To qualify for a Store Credit, all of the following conditions must be met:
-
Return request lodged within 30 days of delivery.
-
Return approved by Uniforms.com.au before goods are returned.
-
Goods are unused, unworn and unwashed.
-
Goods remain in original saleable condition.
-
Original packaging, labels and swing tags remain attached.
-
Proof of purchase is provided.
-
Goods have not been customised, decorated or altered.
Returns that do not meet these requirements may be declined.
Return Fees
For approved change-of-mind returns, the following charges apply:
-
15% supplier restocking fee calculated on the returned product value.
-
$19.95 freight and supplier handling fee per brand represented in the return.
-
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning goods to Uniforms.com.au.
Original outbound freight charges, express shipping charges and other service fees are non-refundable.
These charges do not apply where a customer is entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

A Return Authorisation (RA) Number must be obtained before any goods are returned.
Returns received without an RA Number may be refused.
